The nurse working in an internal medicine clinic receives four phone calls from clients with chronic pancreatitis. which client should the nurse contact first?

    The nurse should contact the person, who at the moment is worst.

    Since they all are suffering from chronic pancreatitis, they may or may not be having symptoms because it can be asymptomatic. If they are experiencing abdominal pain, intermittent attacks of severe pain they are in worst condition. Also if symptoms like jaundice, internal bleeding and intestinal blockage appear it's another sign of a worst phase of the pancreatitis and it may be necessary do surgery.
