    Explanation:

    A gamete is always pure and carries only one allele for a gene. The parent with genotype "bbEe" is homozygous for one gene and heterozygous for another gene. The alleles "b and b" and "E and e" would segregate during meiosis and each gamete will have one copy of "b" allele and one copy of either "E or e" allele.

    This parent would form two types of gametes=

    50% gametes with "bE" alleles: 50% gametes with "be" alleles.
