Explain why do cells need energy and how does the energy stored in glucose is transferred to phosphates bond in ATPs?

    Cells can extract more energy from ATP than from glucose. - Enzymes can burn ATP more efficiently than they can burn glucose. - Glucose is not a usable energy source for most enzymes.
