Why is gastric lipase not as active as pancreatic lipase?

    The gastric lipase is more relaxed compared to the pancreatic lipase because it is only concerned with the breakdown and digestion of food that was ingested within the body. Unlike the pancreatic lipase that process and weed-out the unnecessary materials that are no longer needed by the body.
