A segment of DNA has this base sequence:

ACG TAG TCA GTA. Which is the base sequence of the complementary DNA strand?

    A) is the base sequence of the complementary DNA strand. If you remember that A bonds with T and C bonds with G, then you can choose the strand that has the opposite bases as the original. D) is not correct because U's replace T's in RNA strands, not DNA strands.
