Donor and recipient blood types are a positive. mixing recipient serum with donor rbcs caused agglutination. no agglutination occurred when donor serum was mixed with recipient rbcs. is the blood safe for transfusion?

    The answer is No, it is not safe to transfer the blood because the antibodies in the recipients plasma are interacting with some unidentified antien on the RBCs.

    The blood is not safe for tranfusion because antibodies in the recipient's plasma are interacting with some unidentified antigen on the donors RBCs. So, it is not safe to transfer the blood to the recipient.
