How does an increase in carbon dioxide concentration can lead to global warming

    When Carbondioxide is produced above normal levels as a result of activities such as burning of fossil fuels, it creates a heat trapping effects in the atmosphere and it also allows stronger sun rays to penetrate the atmosphere resulting in higher temperatures and hence global warming.
