The form of fat that is normally produced by the liver which is needed by all cells for strength and can in high quantities lead to heart attack is cholesterol.

Cholesterol is found in most body tissues and is used to make hormones, vitamin D, etc. Cholesterol level in the blood must be within the normal range; high blood cholesterol level leads to atherosclerosis which in turn leads to heart attacks.
