What is the difference between miosis and mitosis?

    Meiosis cells have half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell and produces 4 daughter cells. Mitosis produces 2 identical cells with the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell.

    Meiosis is used to to make sex cells.

    Mitosis is used to make regular cells for you body.
