An ice cube is put into a heated pan. what will most likely happen to the molecules in the ice as the ice is heated

    As the ice is heated, the molecules would start traveling at a faster rate and would expand, so expanding it would make it turn into a liquid form, but since it's being heated, the liquid from melted ice would evaporate.
