The water molecules flows from low solute concentration to high solute concentration in phospholipid membrane.

    Explanation:

The phospholipid layer is the water loving phosphates present. The phosphates are water loving elements and can easily dissolve in the water. But the lipid present is the hydrophobic which cannot be dissolved in the water. In this condition, osmosis will take place, by which the solvents or the water molecules will move from the area of low concentration to the higher concentration through semi permeable membrane. When the cell having phospholipid layer is put in the water, the water molecules will start moving through the membrane.
