Construct an explanation a replication fork moves about 50 times faster in prokaryotic dna than in eukaryotic dna. Use structure of dna in prokaryotes and eukaryotes to explain this difference

    DNA molecule in prokaryotic is usually single and circular, while Eukaryotas have up to one thousand more genetic material in their nuclei. Replication process begins in one spot in prokaryotic, while a number of spots can be even several hundred in the DNA of Eukaryotas. In both cases, replication is done in two directions. In Eukaryota cells, DNA molecule is wrapped around histones and forms nucleoside. These structures slow down DNA polymer, which moves about 50 times slower than in prokaryotic.
