If a cross between tall and dwarf tobacco plants produces intermediate height in the f1 generation. the f2 generation had phenotypes ranging from dwarf to tall with many heights in between. which mode of inheritance is consistent with these results

    Some of the factors like color of the eyes, color of hair, and height are controlled by more than one gene. Such mode is called as polygenic mode of inheritance. Here, the phenotypes are present in wide range, for example wide range of height. Environmental conditions contribute a lot to the phenotype.
