An isotope of neon has an atomic number of 10 and an atomic mass of 22. How many protons, neutrons, and electrons are found in an atom of this isotope?

    Z=atomic number=10

    A=atomic mass=22

    N=number of protons

    A=Z+N

    22=10+N

    N=22-10=12

    number fo protons=Z=10

    number of electrons=Z=10

    number of neutrons=N=12
