    The large intestine is the part of the body where water is absorbed from the food and prepares the remaining undirected food for elimination from the body.

    There are three functions of large intestine i. e. absorption of water which present in the waste material, absorb nutrients and vitamins that is present in the food substance and remove the waste products by sending towards rectum.
