The element found in both DNA and protein is nitrogen.

    Explanation:

All the living things especially 99% of the human body is made up of six elements, which are carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, calcium, phosphorus, and hydrogen. In DNA, we have a phosphate group which allowing the nucleotide to be linked. Sugar-phosphate is the backbone of the nucleic acid. The nitrogenous bases are creating a genetic alphabet by contributing letters. The nucleic acids are composed of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, phosphorus, and hydrogen. The proteins are made up of different kinds of amino acids. In addition, they have hydrogen, carbon, sulfur, oxygen, selenium, and nitrogen.
