Group IQ tests administered to students create a self-fulfilling prophecy through the possibility of leading students grouped by ability to decide they are either dull or bright. Low scorers on IQ tests tend to believe that they might be dull and those who have high scores tend to believe that they are smarter compared to the others, thus, working harder to maintain it.
