Desoxyribonucleic acid synthesis occurs just prior to cadre segmentation through a process called retort. When replication begins the two string of DNA are separated by a mixed bag of enzyme. Prior to cell division, the DNA cloth in the original cell must be duplicated so that after cell division, each new cell contains the full amount of DNA material.
