    DNA is the genetic material in all organisms. It undergoes duplication before cell division. The process of DNA duplication is called DNA replication. The replication of DNA occurs in the S phase or synthesis phase of interphase. Replication of DNA results into two copies of original DNA with same genetic information. They are distributed into two new cells
