For plant stem length, the dominant allele for height is T and the recessive allele is t. If a heterozygous parent for tall stem length crossed with a homozygous recessive parent for short stem length, what would be the phenotypes of the offspring?     Most likely the offspring would be short stem. One parent has a dominant allele for long stem and a recessive allele for short stem and the other has two recessive short stem alleles, making the percentages 25% for tall stem and 75% chance of being a short stem plant.
