Do muscle fibers have a refractory period like nerve fibers?

    Muscle fibers, like nerve fibers, have a refractory period, that is, a very short period of time immediately following one stimulus, during which they will not respond to a second stimulus.

    No muscles do not have a refractory period. If we did we wouldn't be able to even lift objects.
