What are the benefits of being vaccinated against certain diseases?

    Immunization is effective by triggering the immune system to fight against certain diseases. When a person is vaccinated and comes in contact with the disease, their immune system will fight again the disease more effectively. This will in turn prevent the disease from developing or reduces the severity.
