    If the nucleus of sheep Y's egg is removed and we inject a nucleus from sheep X in the egg, it will function as X because the nucleus is the carrier of the genetic material that determine the functions performed by organism. However, if you mean a fusion between 2 nuclei of opposite sexes of the same species, it's fertilization! It'll yield a fertile offspring.
