Explain the difference between absorption and excretion.

    Absorption is the transfer of a chemical from the site of exposure, usually an external or internal body surface, into the systemic circulation whereas Excretion is the movement of material along the kidney tubules for ultimate elimination from the body (ie. urine leaves collecting duct - - > ureter - - > urethra - - > in to Walter Palmer's mouth)
