How does disease affect blood pressure

    The body has lots of mechanisms that can control the blood pressure, plus, changing the amount of blood the heart pumps, the diameter of the arteries, and volume of blood in the bloodstream. When a disease causes blood pressure to stay high, low, or in between, problems can arise.
