    The Electrically initiated Improvised Explosive Device (IED) generally consist of four component with the acronym PIES, the P stands for power sources which supplies electrical charge to the I; initiator contains a small amount of explosives such TNT or PETN which triggers the remaining amount of explosive, E is the explosive itself which is triggered into explosion by the initiator and finally the S, Swtich, example clock or a cell phone which determine the device explodes
