A wave in biology is classified as a vibration that cultivates between the particles in a body. Waves also transfer energy without transferring matter. A wave is basically a disturbance that passes through a medium to transfer energy from one place to another. An example of a wave are the waves that come from a microwave or radio. These are also classified as electromagnetic waves.
