The answer to this question is letter B. stabilizing selection. Stabilizing selection is an opposition to disruptive selection. This is a type of natural selection wherein most trait do not occur to severely change over time. It uses purifying selection or negative selection to choose against the character's extreme values. This selection leads to the decrease of genetic diversity.
