While a nurse is teaching a client with diabetes about food choices, the client states, "i do not like broccoli." which food should the nurse suggest to substitute for broccoli?

    When a client is being taught about healthy food choices because of her current condition, it is best to chose foods that is healthy and she is capable of eating or digesting into her system. Since she says that she does not like broccoli, it is best to chose something else that is in the same category of broccoli but a different one. A green beans could be a substitute of broccoli since she does not like broccoli for green beans are in the same category of the broccoli for it is healthy and it is classified to be a vegetable and is fitted of a healthy food choice that the client should consume.
