On valuation, the nurse discoveries that the fundus is 2 cm overhead the umbilicus and boggy. The intervention that is main concern is have the client null and void, and then massage the fundus until it is fixed. The fundus in a post-delivery client have to reduce 1 cm below the umbilicus to each day. The fundus has to also be firm to decrease the risk of postpartum hemorrhage. All of the registered interventions are suitable, but a firm fundus is the right of way. The fundus is the portion of a hollow organ such as the uterus or the gall bladder that is uttermost from the opening.
