Miranda is in treatment for alcoholism, and her doctor has prescribed antabuse, which will make her vomit after drinking alcohol. why might this not be an effective treatment for miranda?

    The antabuse may not be an effective treatment for Miranda for any number of reasons. Maybe the vomiting will not be enough to deter Miranda from the drinking. Also, the withdrawal symptoms from alcohol could end up being worse than the effects of the antabuse. Every patient is different.
