How might ethnobotanist play a role in pharmacology

    Ethnobotanists play an important role in pharmacology. They collect data related to folk use of medical plants. then invito and invivo experiments are performed on such plants. if the results are positive, then such chemicals are extracted from plants in order to develop new medicine or drugs.
