The distribution of volcanoes on Earth is evidence for plate tectonics. This is true because plate tectonics slide together, which forms mountains, earthquakes, and tsunamis. If you focus on the mountains, lava, or molten rock, could be underneath the tectonic plates. When the tectonic plates slide into each other when molten rock was underneath it, the lava could spew out of the mountain forming a volcano. This shows that plate tectonics or tectonic plates are here.
