What is the difference between bacillus, coccus, and spirillum

    They are all different shapes of bacteria

    Bacillus - rod-shaped

    Coccus - spherical shaped

    Spirillum - string-like

    Coccus are bacteria with a spherical shape, bacillus have a rod shape and spirillium have an elongated spiral shape.
