    A) the lymphatic system only carries fluid away from tissues.

    Explanation:

More differences between lymphatic system and circulatory system are:

    • Circulatory system consists of a network of blood vessels through which blood is pumped by a "pump" called heart. In lymphatic system there is no such thing as a pump (only lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes)

    • Lymph capillaries are closed on one side, so lymph does not circulate, but only drains to reach veins.

    • Circulatory system has different role than lymphatic system: it tranports oxygen and other gases, nutrients and hormones, but also wastes that need to be excreted. On the other hand, lymphatic system has a role in immune system, fat and vitamin absorption and transportation.
