How does population size of both predators and prey affect each other?

    If there is a larger population of predators then there will be more preys being consumed and a smaller population of prey, therefore preys would be less frequent and predators will have a harder time finding a food source which will lead to more predators dying off. If there is a larger population of preys then there will be more food for predators leading to an increase in the predator population.
