An advantage of vertical farming is, less soil use.

    Explanation:

Growing crops on vertical layers, stacked one after another is called vertical farming. In this method plants are grown in very small area without soil (Hydroponics) or along with fishes and other aquatic animals (aquaponics) or without any medium (Aeroponics). This system allows a controlled growth of plant in limited area. Involves very less use of soil in hydroponics it also uses less water in case of aeroponics.
