When normal microbiota become pathogenic and produce disease they are called opportunistic pathogens?

    Normal microbiota can become opportunistic pathogens if conditions overweigh the immune system, there are changes in the balance of the microbiota, a member of microbiota starts living in the part of the body where they don't normally live.
