Why do plants need to obtain carbon atoms?

A. They use carbon to breathe.

B. Carbon is their food.

C. Plants use carbon to build glucose during photosynthesis.

D. Plants don't need carbon.

    Either A or C, I'd go with C though.

    Plants do use carbon dioxide for glucose molecules, but then again they do get carbon dioxide from the air too.

    The Answer Is C: Plants Use Carbon To Build Glucose During Photosynthesis. Once They Have Glucose They Can Reproduce And Stay Alive.
