According to the endosymbiosis theory, scientists believe that early eukaryotes formed from prokaryotes. Why do scientists believe that prokaryotes existed earlier than eukaryotes?     Because prokaryotes are the simplest organism and their structure were formed first eukaryotes are based on them, with development of ecosistem they divided or they reformed their s structure to accommodate the environment (biotops)
