There is an increase in food demand because poverty rates are getting smaller and there are more people that in demand of food. There are more people in the worlds population for one and for two, people are getting back up off of their feet and are now in bigger need of food

Because there is an increase in population. if the population goes up so does our need for food. the demand for food will keep going up as long as our population continues to rise. the food industry is a huge market and so is the human population and it could be that we are humans and humans are gluttons
