A human embryo doesn't need the kind of yolk that is present in a chick embryo. Explain. It doesn't need any nourishment. It gets its nourishment from its mother. It can synthesize its own food.

    It gets its nourishment from its mother. The human embryo is connected to its mother by a placenta through which materials are passed.
