Non-genetic factors are essentially the things people can control. This include things like environmental factors, diet, and lifestyle. A healthier diet and lifestyle will effectively reduce chances of contracting morbidities such diabetes mellitus type 2, which has a strong correlation to unhealthy choices like eating junk food and living a sedentary lifestyle. Other diseases like cardiovascular diseases and hypertension are also lessened.
