    In the Earth's atmosphere, the ozone comprises of the stratosphere which is 15 to 30 kilometers above the Earth's surface. The function of the atmosphere's ozone layer is that it keeps the earth warm by preventing the heat energy reflected by the Earth's surface from being re-radiated into space.
