    A. Diffusing substances usually move down their concentration gradient i. e. go from high concentration to low.

    Down the concentration gradient

    Explanation:

In terms of diffusion a fluid will always mover from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration a. k. a down its concentration gradient

This is due to brownian motion the concept that molicules move randomly and collide with each other. These random movement and collisions cause the molecules to move and spread out until evenly spread out in its closed environment, the molecules will still move but the concentration will still be spread out as if a molecule enters an area of high concentration it will collide more often and be pushed back out to an area of low concentration
