The distinguishing characteristic of the hadalpelagic zone is it is below in most of the ocean's floor.

    Explanation:

Hadal zone also called under the world zone in the Greek language. It is the deepest region beneath the ocean, near the oceanic trench. It is found in the depth of 6000-11,000 meters and exists in topographic depressions. Trenches have 40 percent of the ocean's depth region.

The deepest region in hadal zone is called ultra-abyssal. As the depth increases even the marine life starts decreasing as they cannot survive in that much of pressure.
