B. Only multicellular organisms have structures to enable them to regulate excess water entering their cells.

Both Unicellular and multi-cellular organisms are at risk of having too much water entering their cells if they are exposed to water containing no salt.

    Answer: A

    Explanation:

The process through which the water enters or diffuses through the cells is called Osmosis.

When more amount of water enters the cell, let it be a multi-cellular cell or unicellular cell, it leads to risk of cytolysis a condition due to which the cell gets busted.

When the cell is exposed to hypo-tonic solution in which water is more containing less or no salt, the water present in the solution continuously enters the cell and it leads to the swelling of the cell which at a stage causes cell to burst.
