"An Electrons are in a cloud outside the nucleus" statement correctly describes part of the atomic model.

    Answer: Option A

    Explanation:

A Greek philosopher "Democritus" was the first human to coin the term "Atom". Atom was considered firstly as the smallest particle on the earth. But after many researches and observations, it was concluded that atom itself have the more smaller particle than it named as "nucleus" and credited Ernest Rutherford for its discovery in 1911 from his "Gold-foil experiment".

But in 1897 only J. J. Thomson discovered the electron by studying the cathode ray properties present outside the nucleus, in a cloud but inside atom. Soon after the discovery of nucleus, Rutherford discovered proton by studying hydrogen atom in 1917. Finally in 1932 James Chadwick was accorded with the discovery of neutron. Both proton and neutron are present inside the nucleus of atom.
