The answer is 4. usually short and branched

A neuron consists of a cell body, dendrites, and axon. Usually there is only one axon surrounded by a myelin sheath andy many dendrites. Dendrites are short and branched (dendron is Greek word for tree). The cell body connects dendrites and the axon and that way it takes part in communication between two neurons. Axon carries impulse from the cell body, while dendrites carry impulses to the cell body.
