    Gardner's argument for multiple intelligences. He believes that we have multiple intelligences, rather than a general intelligence that underlies performance in all tasks. People with Savant syndrome have serious mental or physical disabilities, but regardless of this, they have a spectacular talent. Good example of this would be from the movie The Rain Man.
